Visionary problems are a very common problem among human beings. It is impossible to find a single person who never had any such problems. Even if you find a person who does not use specs, be sure that he will have to use one after a certain age. Visionary problem is a common problem for older people. But, it does not appear according to any age group. Any person can face such problem at any age. If a person realizes that he or she is having some problems with his or her eyes, then the eye specialist should be consulted ASAP. Eyes are the most precious part of our body, without it no one knows what would happen.

Eyes are the most important part of our body and it makes us suffer the most. Imagine a world with no color in it, everything black. How would that be? So, the best way to save your eyes is to consult an eye specialist if you feel any problem. If you wait for long time, then the consequences would be devastating. The first advice the doctors give is to use a spectacle. Spectacles are designed with powers according to the patient’s eye. However, the use of specs is getting less and less gradually; since the contact lenses are here to replace them.

Contact lenses were discovered around 1887; but it was not usable at that time as the lenses were made of glass and were very heavy. Gradually, when technology intervened in the lens making, the contact lenses became usable by common people. Nowadays, lenses are made of soft plastic; they are very soft and flexible. It can be used by person of any age, whether he is an infant or an 80 yr old person. The only problem is the insertion of the lens in a person’s eye and taking it out timely. If your kid wears a contact lens, then it is your duty to care about the lens. You have to insert and take it out from your kid’s eye and clean it at regular intervals.

Contact lenses are very sophisticated; they should be handled very carefully. A little mishandling can damage the lens for good. There are some other procedures a person should follow to keep the lens usable for a long time. When you are going to buy a contact lens, check out the solution provided with it very carefully; as a good solution can keep the contact lenses lubricated, clean and disinfected. Otherwise, it can cause irritation in your eyes and can also cause infection.

People who suffer from both myopia (nearsightedness) and hyperopia (farsightedness) find the bifocal contact lenses very effective. Using a heavy glass spectacle having two glasses is very uncomfortable and irritating. The contact lenses have replaced the glass spectacles very fast and proved its efficiency.

The last and most important advice you need is that you must consult the doctor while shifting from glass specs to contact lenses. Contact lenses might not be suitable for your eyes, if you feel any scratchy feeling or irritation while wearing it, take it out and consult your eye specialist. And keep the lens in a hygienic place, an unclean lens can be very harmful for your eyes.

When it comes to laser eye surgery, everyone wants a top-notch professional. After all, your eyes are both delicate and intricate, and you want to ensure the surgeon who works on correcting your vision is fully qualified to carry out the procedure.

However, many prospective laser eye surgery patients don’t always know what type of criteria to search for when seeking a laser eye surgeon. That’s where a few tips and guidelines can come in handy.

When searching for an eye surgeon, most people tend to compile their initial pool of options based on cost, location, and quality of facilities. However, once you’ve narrowed your options based on these preliminary points, you’ll want to enquire about each surgeon’s qualifications and certifications.

Optometrists are not automatically qualified to carry out eye surgery – requiring extra certification – so it’s always important to check up on both academic and professional qualifications when researching surgeons. It’s also a good idea to enquire about the number of years each surgeon has been practicing – generally, three years or more is considered sufficient experience. You could also look for surgeons who are involved with specific groups and advisory boards such as the International Medical Advisory Board (IMAB) – a group that improves standards and initiative with regard to laser surgery practices.

Another important point to consider is whether you might be able to find a specialist surgeon for your condition. While certified laser eye surgeons are qualified to carry out all or most laser eye procedures, securing a specialist to do the job will help ensure your procedure is carried out in a particularly specialised manner.

Of course, the means through which you research laser eye surgeons will also make a big difference to your ultimate choice of surgeon. A good way to start your search is to source referrals from people you trust, such as family members, co-workers or friends. Word of mouth is often one of the best resources when it comes to researching surgeons.

However, once you’ve further narrowed your search, it’s a good ideal to book multiple consultations. During these consultations, make sure to ask as many questions as are needed to help you understand the procedure.

Ultimately, you should choose your laser eye surgeon based on their overall practice, style, and personality in relation to yours. A compatible combination f these elements will help ensure your laser eye surgery is a success.

1th Section

In my first section,as an eye care specialist advice you to use spectacles. They are very safe and low risk. It is only possible to break glasses. And with a good eye examinatin and a suitable spectacle selection, you can confidence that you have safe eyes. You will wear spectacle in the morning and remove at bed time. Isn’t it?

As a contact lens practitioner, I recommend you high quality contact lenses If you are hated from spectacles. With a precise eye examination for contact lens prescription, you will have a good vision and more comfortable use than spectacles. There are different types of contact lenses such as spherical(for nearsightedness and far sightedness) and toric(for astigmatism) . You can use soft and hard ones. Soft contact lenses are more comfortable and easy to use. You will not foreign body sensation with them. You can use them for sports(football and …),But you should remove them before swimming and bed.

Hard contact lenses have an excelent vision, but not durable. You’ll have some foriegn body sensation at the first days or weeks. You can’t use them for sports. Hard contact lenses can correct for Keratoconus, Irregular astigmatism and …

Lasik is the final solution for those hate spectacles and contact lenses. Those who have thin corneas, keratoconus, high astigmatism and progressive nearsightedness cases are not good case for lasik. After lasik you will have some complications such as Dry Eye, Hallos in night vision, regression of myopia , hasty presbyopia and etc.

Whether you is thinking of switching over to contact lenses from eyeglasses one has already been using or have just been given prescription for corrective lenses for the first time, there are many other things to consider about acquiring contact lenses.

There are many different kinds of contact lenses obtainable on the market: soft contact lenses, gas infiltrated lenses, rigid gas infiltrated lenses, contact lenses in different colors, contacts with dual lens or contact lenses with many lens and etc..

Your eye specialist may turn to the many alternatives with you, however, if you prepare yourself by learning about them prior to using them, you may prepare yourself with related questions to ask at your check up. Your eye care specialist shall turn to various perspective of proper care and sterilizing of your contact lenses, some of which is discussed concisedly under.

Proper Maintenance and Sterilizing.
even what kind of contact lenses you and your eye care specialist analize are suitable for you, proper care and sterilizing of your lenses is vital to maintaining good eye condition. Maintenance and cleaning of one’s lenses shall vary only little depending on if you has been advised prolonged use, daily use or contact lens which can be discarded after use.

You shall need some stosks ready to precisely clean and care for one’s new contacts. The necessary stocks consist: – High quality contact lens mixture – Contact lens case (facts on how to sterilize one’s cases are under) – Soft (gentle) plastic tweezers
Sterilizing one’s contact lenses is not hard, however, it is important to be very detailed and very consistent. To clean one’s contact lenses correctly, simply do the procedures under:

1.Wash and sponge one’s hands carefully prior starting the process.
2.Get each lens from the case and wash with multi-purpose mixture by ejecting the mixture onto both sides of the lens.
3.Pour one’s lens case with new mixture, put the lenses in the case, and screw the case closed. Allow the contact lenses soak for about 6 hours (overnight is most appropriate).
4.Before you place again one’s contact lenses, wash each side with new mixture again.

Sadly, simply being industrious about cleaning one’s contact lenses daily is not adequate. So that to prevent infection and better eye’s health is maintained, it is imperative} that you carefully sterilize one’s contact lens cases on a regular schedule.

Sterilizing Your Contact Lens Holders
Sadly, contact lens cases may be a source of bacteria maturity and may conveniently lead to a disease. While this method is pretty easy, it is not guarantee in sterilizing and destroying all microorganisms.
2.Many contact lens users suggest simply placing contact lens cases in the dishpan. The heat and thorough action from the dishpan’s mechanism is practically guaranteed to destroy any microorganism on one’s contact lenses.
3.A simpler method to sterilize youone’s contact lenses with burning sensation is to put one’s contact lens cases in a pot of boiling water in one’s kitchen for 5 to 10 minutes.

If you think that undergoing eye exams are only for those who believe they need glasses, then, think again. Eye exams are not designed just to prescribe eye glasses or contact lenses. These exams exist to monitor your vision. It’s something that people usually neglect but must be considered by every person who knows how to take care of his or her body parts.

So, what do eye exams do? Aside from the fact that it is needed when an eye doctor will check your eye vision if it needs correction, eye exams are also given to check for other eye diseases. Also, as you know, your eyes can be an indicator of other diseases concerning the different parts of your body, so the eye specialist checks for your overall health with eye exams.

So, what do eye doctors usually check for when they conduct eye exams to patients? One thing that is possible to be diagnosed is Amblyopia. Amblyopia is a condition of the eyes where one is turned on or has a different vision than the other eye. Through eye exams, the eye doctor can check for possible correction to this such as patching the other eye for some time.

Another thing that can be checked during eye exams is the possible refraction of the eye. Of course, this means the eyes can either be nearsighted, farsighted, or astigmatic. When diagnosed during eye exams, the patient is prescribed to take eyeglasses or contact lenses with the proper correction of vision.

Strabismus is another condition of the eye that may be checked in eye exams. The eye specialist will check the alignment of your eyes. If they are working together and are properly aligned, there is no problem. If they are not properly working, you have to undergo eye treatments to correct the eye’s alignment.

Other diseases can be diagnosed through eye exams. Glaucoma and diabetic eye disease are some of the more popular eye diseases. By checking the eye’s blood vessels or retina, overall health condition of the eye can be checked. This is important because these two diseases do not show symptoms when the person’s eyes are attacked.
Usually, eye exams are not taken to correct an eye disease but to actually prevent having eye disorders. As what doctors always say, prevention is better than cure. You are encouraged to take eye exams at least once or twice a year.
