When both eyes focus on an object simultaneously it’s actually an incredible feat.  This is possible when both eyeballs adjust precisely for distance and are aimed in the same direction.  When these things don’t occur is what is known as strabismus.  Strabismus is more commonly known as cross-eyed or lazy eye.

Mental strain is the main cause.  This occurs when the eyes are pulled in different directions by the outer muscles.  When we lose concentration, the eyes will actually go off and do their own thing.  One eye may be off in its own little world while the other one is focusing in on the object.  When one eye is focused and the other is turned slightly up or down or even out, this is what is known as cross-eyed.  When it takes longer for one eye to catch up with the other, this is what is known as lazy eye.

The root cause of this ailment is always a subconscious reluctance to see and the lack of mental focus.  The feeling side is represented by the left eye.  The active thinking side is represented by the right eye.  A clash between feelings and thoughts can cause one eye to look away.  If you know which eye is the lazy one, you might be able to figure out what is causing the inner conflict.  

Other symptoms associated with Strabismus are ADHD.  Finding stability is very difficult for some people due to their attention being divided between two people.  It might be between a mother and father, a parent and grandparent, a teacher and parent, etc.  It’s difficult for them to find rest and security in such an unstable situation.  They feel out of control which will only worsen the problem.

Relaxation is the key to solving most eye problems, especially Strabismus.  If you can figure out and face the inner conflict you have, you can then take the necessary steps to make peace with the situation.  The best cure for any eyesight ailment is relaxing and taking time for yourself.

High Myopia… What Causes Myopia?

Before we get into it, I’d like to clarify something right off the bat… if you have difficulties in dealing with the truth if it’s uncomfortable, you might as well stop reading now. If you, on the other hand, are dying to find out where high myopia comes from, and especially what you can do about it, so that it stops getting worse and worse every eye exam, you are in the right place.

The truth can be confronting at times and even more so when the “authorities” in the field hiding it from us, either out of ignorance, or out of profit thinking.

High Myopia & The Ophthalmic Industry

You see, when you go to an optometrist or eye surgeon and ask for the reason of your high myopia, they usually tell you that your lens is shaped too steeply, so you need to wear glasses or undertake surgery. So, I’m asking, should we trust them blindly, just because they studied for many years, or should we maybe get a second opinion?

The scholars of this world have believed for centuries what the catholic church wanted us to believe is true, so they were wrong, even though they were the most educated. Not because they were bad people, but because it didn’t suit the catholic church and it’s interests to listen to science.

Theories About The Causes Of Myopia

Unfortunately the ophthalmic industry, just like the catholic church a couple of centuries back, has interests that don’t encourage them to teach students the truth. At universities they still teach a theory about eye problems that was established by German physicist Hermann Helmholtz, rather than the much more accurate and modern theory of one of their own, ophthalmologist Dr William Bates.

So the reason why your eyes get worse and worse with glasses over the years has to do with the whole industry subscribing to the wrong theory. If they were right and glasses, contacts, or eye surgery would truly improve your vision and not just function as a crutch, wouldn’t you get weaker and weaker glasses prescribed, until they are gone?

Well, I haven’t heard that in a while…

True Causes For High Myopia

You have to understand that there are multiple reasons for high myopia. Some are physiological, and many are psychological. The physiological reasons are not the shape of the lens. That’s just the symptom of all the underlying reasons.

High myopia is often a result of bad posture, which restricts proper blood circulation throughout the body, and therefore doesn’t deliver appropriate amounts of oxygen and nutrients to the eye muscles. Together with already existing strain on the eye muscles that determine the shape of the eyeball, the lack of oxygen increases the tightness and strains the muscles even more.

The strain on these eye muscles flattens out eyeball, extending it like a zoom on a photo camera, and because the eyeball is full of liquid, it changes the shape of the lens. In other words, the lens gets pushed out, bends more than it should, and therefore is shaped more steeply. The more tension on the eye muscles, the more the eyeball is extended, and in turn the more myopia you get.

Treatments For High Myopia

High myopia can only be treated by getting rid of the tension in the eye muscles. To do so successfully and long-term you have to find out where the tension comes from, ie you have to determine the underlying causes for myopia. You can do that by yourself, totally naturally, you just need to become aware of how to do it.

Glasses, on the other hand, will never release the tension of the eye muscles, on the contrary, over time they will increase it, and that’s why you need stronger glasses.

Sadly, if you ask your optometrist or eye surgeon about the eye muscles and the influence on the shape of the lens they will tell you that it’s not true. They think that only one muscle around the lens is responsible for its shape. So if you ask, and you get that answer, ask them why others improve their vision naturally with natural vision correction methods (which are supposedly shenanigans and cost only a hundred bucks one time) and need weaker and weaker glasses until they are gone, but you, using the “correct” approach, get more high myopia and need stronger and stronger glasses (and spend a hundred dollars or more a year!).

You’ll be surprise how much they’ll stutter on mumble something that doesn’t make sense…

Create Better Vision: The Art of Swinging

One of the main causes for poor health is strain on your body.  It can cause tension in the face, neck, shoulders and spine.  Body aches and illnesses are caused by tension and if you are under tension for long periods of time, this puts strain on the muscles around your eyes as well which is the main cause of eye problems.

There is a simple and easy way to loosen up the tense muscles in your eyes, neck, shoulders and spine and that is called swinging.  Swinging is a method that has been around for a very long time and only takes just five to ten minutes a day.  Anyone can do this method no matter the age and it can greatly improve your health including your eyesight.

Learning the art of swinging is very easy.  I prefer to stand in front of a window so at least I’m looking at something pleasant.  Be sure that your back is straight and your feet are spread shoulder length apart.   Now all you do is slowly turn your upper body to the right until you are facing the wall.  Now turn your body back the other way until you are facing the opposite wall.  Just repeat this process, swinging back and forth in a steady rhythm for at least five minutes, preferably ten.  Each turn should only take about two to three seconds.

During this exercise, your eyes should remain relaxed.  Because you are turning back and forth rather quickly, your eyes should just move naturally with the rest of your body and not try to focus on just one particular object.  It’s a hard habit to break but try to just let the images go by quickly.  

This is a great exercise for your spine because it will also help improve your posture.  Be sure to keep your spine straight at all times with your shoulders hanging loose at your side.  If you do this exercise each day for just a few short minutes, you will find over time that you will not need those chiropractic visits as often as you had.  Your spine will be able to stay flexible and in shape if you continue doing this simple swinging exercise.

The best time to practice this exercise is first thing in the morning and just before bedtime.  It will really help you to become much more relaxed which is a great way to start and end your day.  You will find that sleep will come more peacefully and you will feel better with the start of each new day.  Because you are learning to relax and move around a bit more, your eyes should not feel much strain throughout your day.

How to Have Better Vision By Learning to Manage Stress

Stress is a major problem in today’s society.  There are many definitions for the word stress but most people think of stress as meaning physical, mental or emotional strain or tension.  Like worrying over a job loss or your loved one’s health.  Stress can also cause eye problems both internally and externally.  Just like our bodies, the eyes contain muscles too.  These muscles help move the eyes around as well as lengthen and shorten the lenses.  If you continue to be stressed all the time, this can cause serious problems later in life.  

Managing stress is no easy feat.  Some people handle it really well while others are ready to burst at any second and start pulling their hair out.  Stress can be a daily occurrence for many so learning how to deal with it is very important and necessary.  

In order to learn how to manage stress we first have to discover what it is that is stressing us out.  Some people really have no idea what exactly is causing them stress so it may be a little harder to find a solution.  But there really is a solution to every problem once we can figure out what it is.  Here are a few things to consider.

*  If you are always late, try setting your clock ahead at least 10 minutes.

Try to take a few mini breaks throughout your day and do some relaxation exercises.  This will help reduce the stress you have in your life.  Start by taking deep breaths; close your eyes for a minute and just relax.  Look around the room and away from your computer at least three to four times an hour.  Vision problems are caused by too much strain or stress on your eyes.  Give them the much needed break that they need.
