Improving Eyesight Naturally: The Importance of Keeping the Eyes Moving
Keeping the eyes moving is very important to improving eyesight naturally. Just like your mind, your eyes love to stay busy too. Your mind is always on the go constantly thinking about different things or working out solutions to problems. When your mind is under stress or strain, it struggles to work properly.
The eyes work in similar ways. When they are free to move around and look at different objects they work best. But when they are not moving around and just staring at objects, that puts too much strain on the eyes which causes the eyesight to worsen.
The eyes and mind work pretty much the same way. They both love to stay busy. When the eyes are rapidly moving, they are taking in the sights. Just like when you are out on a nature walk. The eyes are moving quickly around from one thing to the next, taking in all the beauty and admiring nature. The only time they stop is when they are focusing in on one particular object. Your mind and your eyes are both staring at the object trying to figure out what it is. The only time they stop moving is when we force them to.
The eyes are constantly moving even when we are asleep. It’s when they start to slow down that causes the real damage. By staring too intently at objects can cause strain on the eyes.
The eye movement should always be smooth and flowing. The way to teach your eyes to move smoothly is by tracing objects. You can start by tracing around the edges of objects such as the couch or chair that is just a few feet away from you. Or perhaps the television when you are watching a program. When outside you can even trace around cars, trees, buildings or bushes. Within just a few minutes of tracing around an object, the object itself will start to get clearer and even brighter. It’s best to do this exercise at least once a day. This will help train the eyes to look at things instead of just staring.
By implementing just one simple exercise a day can start you on the way to improving your eyesight naturally. Learning even more methods and techniques can improve your eyesight.

How can Eye exercises cure and improve your eyesight
The screens (of computers, televisions or others) are the main cause of eyesight problems, because of their illumination, and our eyes focus on one point , the eye will dry as a result of lack in the winking action.
So In 1981, research performed at Harvard University Laboratories showed that when these muscles hold the eyes in one position for an extended period of time, they also squeeze the eye. This pressure can change the eyes’ shape. And if the eye is misshaped by only 1/25th of an inch, that can cause focusing problems.
You possibly can “train” your eyes to see better in different ways, such as in how your brain and your eyes adapt and function. Children with certain early vision problems, such as amblyopia or “lazy eye,” may need a specific type of vision therapy to make sure their eyes work together properly (binocular vision) and that vision is developing normally.
Bates developed exercises that can help people change their eyes for the better.
The first exercise is the Dot exercise. To do this find a period or comma on the page and focus on making it as clear as possible. Stare at the period until it comes into focus. Chances are after a few seconds the period will actually became less clear and blurry.
Try relaxing your eyes. Close them for a minute and let them relax. Now look at the period without straining. Don’t stare; instead, let your eyes slowly move around the page, over and around the period. Don’t focus only on the period, the eyes need movement. Make sure to blink a bit. Try closing your eyes and picturing the dot and then look at it again. Once the eyes are relaxed it should be easier to see the period.
The second exercise is the Word exercise. Find a word on the page that is five or more letters long. Stare at the word so that all the letters are in view, but don’t move the eyes. Focus entirely on the whole word trying to get the best image in your head. Again, staring and concentrating hard is going to cause the word to blur.
Now, relax your eyes and allow them to move slowly over, around, and across each letter of the word. Blink. Allow the eyes to lead you; don’t force them to look at what you want. The word should be clearer when you look at it again. Letter the eyes move around is what will help them work best without the strain.
The third exercise is the Double Vision exercise. This exercise is meant to get your eyes to work together as a team. Most people use one eye to look at an object, while the other eye does its own thing. Squinting can help bring an object into focus with both eyes, but this causes unnecessary stress. The trick is to relax the eyes, focus on the object in a calm way, and allow both eyes to focus together.
Learning exercises to relax the eyes is a great way to develop lasting habits and ensure great eyesight for years to come.
